  • What is the difference between gel, acrylic, and dip powder nails?
Gel Nails Application: Gel nails are applied by brushing a gel-based polish onto the natural nail or nail extension and then curing it under a UV or LED light. Look: They provide a glossy, natural-looking finish that is flexible and less prone to chipping. Acrylic Nails Application: Acrylic nails are created by mixing a liquid monomer with a powdered polymer to form a paste, which is applied to the natural nail or an artificial nail extension. Once shaped, it hardens in the air. Look: Acrylic nails are durable, strong, and can be sculpted into various shapes and lengths. Dip Powder Nails Application: Dip powder nails are created by applying a base coat to the natural nail, dipping the nail into colored powder, and sealing it with a top coat. This process is repeated to build up the color and thickness. Look: They offer a more matte finish compared to gel, with a similar strength to acrylic but a lighter feel.
  • How long do gel, acrylic, and dip powder nails typically last?
Gel Nails Lasts: 2 to 3 weeks. Acrylic Nails Lasts: 2 to 3 weeks before a fill is needed, but they can last longer with proper maintenance. Dip Powder Nails Lasts: 3 to 4 weeks.

  • What's the difference between the different types of eyelash extensions?
Classic Eyelash Extensions Application: One extension is applied to each natural lash. Look: The most natural-looking option, classic lashes enhance the length and curl of your natural lashes without adding much volume. Hybrid Eyelash Extensions Application: A mix of classic and volume lashes (usually a 70/30 mix) is applied to the natural lashes. Look: Offers more texture and volume than classic lashes while still maintaining a relatively natural appearance. Volume Eyelash Extensions Application: Multiple ultra-fine extensions (typically 2-6) are applied to each natural lash in a fan shape. Look: Creates a fuller, more dramatic look, perfect for those who want a noticeable enhancement. Mega Volume Eyelash Extensions Application: Even more extensions (typically 10-16) are applied to each natural lash, using the finest extensions available. Look: Extremely dense and dramatic, mega volume lashes provide the most fullness and intensity. Wispy Eyelash Extensions Application: A combination of different lengths and curls are strategically placed to create a textured, spiky effect. Look: Mimics the look of strip lashes with a staggered, feathery appearance that’s both voluminous and defined.
  • Which type of eyelash extension is best for me?
Classic Eyelash Extensions Best For: Clients who want a subtle, everyday look that enhances their natural lashes. Hybrid Eyelash Extensions Best For: Clients who want a fuller look than classic lashes but aren’t ready to go for full volume. Volume Eyelash Extensions Best For: Clients who want a more glamorous, full lash look without going too extreme. Mega Volume Eyelash Extensions Best For: Clients who want a bold, high-impact look with maximum volume. Wispy Eyelash Extensions Best For: Clients who want a trendy, Instagram-worthy look that adds both volume and a unique, textured style.
  • How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions typically last 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the natural growth cycle of your lashes and how well you care for them. Since natural lashes shed and grow, you’ll notice extensions gradually thinning out over time. To maintain a full look, most people opt for a touch-up or refill every 2 to 3 weeks. Proper aftercare, such as avoiding oil-based products and being gentle with your lashes, can help extend the life of your extensions.
  • How long does an eyelash extension appointment take?
An eyelash extension appointment can take anywhere from 90 minutes to 180 minutes depending on the method used and the amount of eyelash extensions being applied. Please refer to the time duration listed on each appointment.
  • How should I prepare for my eyelash extension appointment?
Please thoroughly remove any eye makeup before your appointment. We suggest you wear something comfortable, as you will be laying with your eyes closed for the majority of your appointment. Feel free to bring headphones.
  • Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
For best possible results, please remove all eye makeup before your appointment.
  • Do I need to remove my contact lenses before the procedure?
Yes, you will be instructed to remove your contact lenses before the eyelash extension application begins.
  • Is the eyelash extension process painful?
No! When done correctly, the eyelash extension process should not be uncomfortable at all. In fact, many people fall asleep during their appointments.
  • Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
No! When applied correctly, eyelash extensions themselves will not damage your natural lashes. However, it is important to follow proper maintenance and aftercare protocol to maintain healthy natural lashes.
  • How do I take care of my eyelash extensions?
    1. Avoid Water and Steam for the First 24-48 Hours Why: The adhesive needs time to fully cure. Avoid getting your lashes wet, and stay away from steam (like hot showers or saunas) to ensure the extensions adhere properly. 2. Gently Clean Your Lashes Use: A lash-safe cleanser (oil-free) and a soft brush to clean your lashes daily or every few days. This helps remove dirt, oil, and makeup buildup. Avoid: Rubbing or pulling on your lashes. 3. Avoid Oil-Based Products Why: Oil can weaken the adhesive bond, causing your extensions to fall out prematurely. Use oil-free makeup removers and skincare products around your eyes. 4. Don’t Use Mascara Why: Mascara, especially waterproof types, can clump extensions together and make them fall out faster. Extensions are designed to replace the need for mascara. 5. Avoid Eyelash Curlers Why: Curlers can bend and damage both your extensions and natural lashes. Extensions are already curled, so additional curling isn’t necessary. 6. Sleep on Your Back Why: Sleeping on your stomach or side can cause lashes to rub against your pillow, leading to premature shedding or misshaping. 7. Brush Your Lashes Daily Use: A clean spoolie brush to gently comb through your lashes each morning. This keeps them aligned and prevents tangling. 8. Schedule Regular Fills Why: Extensions shed naturally as your lashes go through their growth cycle. To maintain a full look, schedule fill appointments every 2-3 weeks. 9. Avoid Touching or Pulling Your Lashes Why: Excessive touching or tugging can cause extensions to loosen or fall out, and may damage your natural lashes.
  • How often should I get fills or touch-ups?
We recommend fills every 2-3 weeks.
  • How long does an eyelash lift and tint last?
An eyelash lift and tint typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks. The exact duration can vary depending on your natural lash growth cycle, aftercare, and lifestyle factors. As your natural lashes grow and shed, the lift and tint will gradually fade, so you may want to schedule a touch-up every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain the results. Proper aftercare, such as avoiding oil-based products and excessive rubbing, can help extend the longevity of your lift and tint.
